Description
| - Development of the knowledge, control and rational utilization of chemical processes including search for new perspective solutions, is conditioned by continuously increasing knowledge of their individual steps on an atomic scale with high temporal and space resolution, and by revealing the role of the particular factors involved. The project is therefore aimed at research on the outlined topics using both theoretical and experimental methods. In the field of theory this concerns perfection of quantum chemical methods to increase their applicability to models adequately representing reality even with complex systems. In the field of experiments the project is focused on methods which provide the structure, dynamics and reactivity of atoms, molecules and molecular systems in the ground, excited and ionized states; mechanism of their interactions including mass and heat transport; and determination of the reaction and phase change kinterics. - Pro další vývoj v poznávání, ovládnutí a racionálním využívání chemických reakcí a procesů včetně vyhledávání nových perspektivních řešení je nezbytné identifikovat v atomárním měřítku a s co největším časovým a prostorovým rozlišením jednotlivé kroky chemických dějů a faktory, které je ovlivňují. Projekt je proto zaměřen na použití teoretických i experimentálních metod k řešení těchto problém. V teorii jde o zdokonalování kvantově chemických metod , aby byly použitelné pro realistické modely, a to i u složitých systémů. V oblasti experimentální to bude aplikace fyzikálních, fyzikálně chemických a elektrochemických metod k získávání poznatků o struktuře, dynamice a raktivitě atomů, molekul a molekulárních systémů v základním, excitovaném a ionizovaném stavu, a o mechanismu jejich interakcí jak v molekulárním, tak v makroskopickém měřítku se zahrnutím transportu tepla a hmoty a stanovení kinetiky reakcí a fázových změn.
