"The goal of the project is the explanation of the microscopic mechanism of slow-ion-induced kinetic electron emission from solid surfaces - a problem that has not been satistactirily solved yet. To that end we will perform new experiments at UJEP in \u00DAst\u00ED nad Labem and use our latest theoretical results at \u00DAFE AV \u010CR. At UJEP we will obtain high quality experimental data of the total electron yields and electron energy distributions from metals (W, Ru) and semiconductors (Si) bombarded by slow Cs+ ions.
