Projekt vybuduje v\u00FDzkumn\u00E9 kontakty mezi \u0159eck\u00FDm geodetick\u00FDm partnerem a dv\u011Bma seismick\u00FDmi skupinami, jednou v \u0158ecku a druhou v \u010Cesk\u00E9 republice. Pr\u00E1ce bude zam\u011B\u0159ena na studium teoretick\u00FDch a praktick\u00FDch omezen\u00ED geodetick\u00FDch a seismick\u00FDch metod, na v\u00FDvoj nov\u00FDch v\u00FDpo\u010Detn\u00EDch program\u016F pro implementaci geodetick\u00E9 informace do studia zlom\u016F a na ov\u011B\u0159en\u00ED metod na minul\u00FDch jevech. Specieln\u00ED pozornost bude v\u011Bnov\u00E1na ur\u010Den\u00ED role ko-seismick\u00E9ho a post-seismick\u00E9ho skluzu na zlomov\u00E9 plo\u0161e. "Static displacement measured with space geodesy methods (by the Global Navigation Satellite System), represents an important constraint on the inverse problem of the slip distribution on the faults, significantly complementing seismic measurements. Dynamic strains from the passage of seismic waves are also accurately recorded on high-rate GNSS receivers and can be used to study earthquake ruptures. The project will build up research contacts between the Greek geodetic partner and two seismic groups, one in Greece, and one in the Czech Republic. The work will focus on studying theoretical and practical limitations of the geodetic and seismic techniques, the development of new codes to implement the geodetic information into the fault studies, and the validation of the methods on past events. Attention will be paid on differentiating roles of the co-seismic and post-seismic slip along the fault plane.
