Mathematical and theoretical research will solve specific physical problems by rigorous mathematical methods and at the same time develop these methods.This is a long-term research programme of the dept. of mathematics, physics and the Doppler Centre of Mathematical Physics FNSPE.The research will be carried out in active international co-operation with foreign universities and research centres.The results of the theoretical research will be used in a variety of ways for the experimental activieties planned within the proposed research plan. The experimental part of the plan aims at securing the participation of FNSPE on experiments in relativistic and ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions and high-energy physics FNSPE offers considerable research back-up and infrastructure for a variety of international collaboration in fundamental research."@en .
