Art in the open multicultural space\u201D with its disciplinary and interdisciplinary character turns to the fundamental problems that have so far been examined only marginally. The complex of artistic and cultural stimuli, entering the space of Moravia for more than one thousand years from European centres and the whole world has so far been avoided by systematic research, and multicultural Moravia has not been studied as a coexistence of Czech, German, and Latin languages, the multilingual Jewish and Silesian art and culture coexisting with many other constituents of European and world art and elements of civilizations, e.g. from the 16th century the influence first of the Spanish, then Italian, and finally partly French art on the art, culture and maecenases among Moravian nobility, in the Catholic Church, and in the towns."@en .
