"The research group will deal with the deterministic and stochastic modelling of technological processes and with basic research in the theory of differential equations, especially in the potential theory. The degenerated operators of eliptic and parabolitype will be studied, the harmonic morphisms of operators will be examined. Further, the geometric conditions for regularity of boundary points will be analysed. In the field of the stochastic processes, the methods of the event-historyanalysis and the counting processes models will be further developed and applied to modelling of reliability of systems. Further, the control charts and control limits will be constructed for asymmetric distributions of controlled processes.
