"The water environment covers the influences of the flowing water bodies and therefore the understanding of the interaction between the chemical components of this ecosystem is the key element in evaluating the ecological functions within the countryside.The criteria for such evaluation will be sought after and the regeneration of grasslands in the flooded lowlands, as well as the harmonization of the ecosystem elements will be analyzed in connection with the surface waters. The influence of variousmetals on the physical and histological functions of fish will be investigated in the laboratory as well as in the field experiments. The migration of various metals and their interaction within the ecosystem components (such as water, sediment, benthos,plankton, fish, etc.) will be observed. The type of linkages, foremost those among the hazardous metals and the environmental factors (pH, oxygen , etc.) which influence the accumulation and release of these metals from the sediments, will be researched."@en .
