(ii) Interactions between soil animals and microorganisms, their interactions with abiotic structures and processes in soil. (iii) Functional diversity of soil organisms and its importance for ecosystem processes, role of keystone species. (iv) Cycles of important macroelements, significant processes of transformations of C, N, and other elements in soil, emission of gases from soil to athmosphere.
