"The research will be focused on the process of fertilization, experimental embryology and related topics in developmental biology, the biochemical and molecular genetics as well as cytogenetics of populations of farm animals and other experimental animals including wild living vertebrates. Gene mapping, genetic characterization of animal species, gene expression and/or genome architecture and application of genetic markers in animal breeding and conservation genetics will be improved in our research. The studies of ruminant and human anaerobic microflora based on genetic engineering of cellulolytic bacteria will be applied in the physiology of nutrition and in relationship to quality and safety of farm animal products and for wastage disposal technology.
