Radiocarbon is a radionuclide with global occurrence and partly natural origin. To determine the 14C excess the comparison with values from reference areas is necessary. The leaves from deciduous trees are usually utilized for purposes of similar studies in the other countries. Resulting data can be then charged by greater variations.
