"The aim of presented results is to compare possibility of usage of gamma radiation detectors during an emergency situation. The main requirements for the spectrometric system during emergency situation is quick response, stability under even nonstandard conditions, ability to detect higher count rates, good energy resolution and sufficient efficiency in required energy range. Among tested detectors were scintilation detector LaBr and semiconductor detectors HPGe and CdZnTe. According to given requirements, measurements of following parameters were performed: energy resolution, efficiency in given energy range for different geometries of measurement, dose rate and dead time dependence on count rates and last but not least the minimum detectable activities were calculated for selected radionuclides."@en . . .
