"Students are educationally and behaviorally formed by a variety of determining factors that systemic pedagogy elaborate in detail. One of the determining factors is ethnicity. Understanding and rspecting authority by Romany students has its specifics that derive from their upbringinng in the family, the ways of adopting the Roamyn community's culture, as well as concrete relations between students and the majority environment around them. There is a difference between the understanding and respecting of authority amongst the individual Romany subculures of the Olashi Romanies and the so-called Rumungroes. The specific concept of authority in the approach to Romany students impacts also on the level of scholarship (scholarizaion). Teachers trying to build up authority also in their relarions with Romany students in the classroom and the school, in general, have to acquaint themselves with these specifics. There is no simple reciple for asserting one's authority amongst Romanies. One has to acquaint oneself with their culture, generational relations in their families, get to know their children in their specific environments and subcultures, relations between men and women, co-relations in larger groups, etc. For a teacher, the core of natural authority rests in his ability to be just and open-minded about the Roma students' situation and unfavorable living conditions, and to be free of the slightest hint of racial intolerance.
