"Asthma is a chronic disease that affects a wide target group of patients. The children are one of them. The main goal of this article is to define asthma as chronic disease in childhood, as a cause of health disadvantage and to find specifics of this disease in areas of life style focusing on both educational impact and free time ? its leisure and possibly limits of it. Chronic disease is often associated with the phenomenon of the quality of life. It is often defined by disease prevention (eliminating the presence and frequency of asthma attacks), by quality of first aid during a seizure (from family, teachers and client itself).
