"The aim of the presented paper was preparation and characterization of plasma polymerized silica (SiOx) barrier layers on th foil materials of low-dnsity polyethylene (LDPE). The thin layer wre created by vacuum based plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) from hexamethyldisiloxane (HDMSO) under different operating conditions.
