"In present, the grain quality is tested with a set of indirect parameters but they are not able to describe the fundamentals of assessed effects. For example the protein content in grain does not bring any information about protein fractions that are known to determine the utility of grain. The decision about grain suitability for indented processing can become uncertain when the values of tested indirect parameters are close to values required by standard. Our results demonstrated that size exclusion high performance liquid chromatography SE-HPLC analysis of wheat grain make the direct detection of protein fractions possible.
