Application of ultrasound in grinding process is one of the methods of machining of industrial ceramics. A paper deals with interpretation of experiments of final machining done by grinding of holes in chosen materials that are made of ceramics. These materials were processed by a combination of classical method and ultrasound in the same technological conditions. Quality of processed surface was emphasised.
