"This contribution presents a MATLAB-Toolbox, so called Self-Tuning Controllers Simulink Library (STCSL) for design, simulation verification and especially real-time implementation of single-input/ single-output (SISO) discrete self-tuning controllers. The proposed adaptive controllers what are included into a Library can be divided into two groups. The first group of these controllers are based on the classical PID algorithms. This controller's class uses traditional Ziegler-Nichols method, pole placement method and some other methods for the setting of the PID controller parameters. The second group of described controllers is based on the polynomial approach (dead-beat, general pole placement method, LQ minimisation). The controllers are implemented as an encapsulated Simulink blocks and thus allows users simple integration into existing Simulink schemas. This Library supports also the design of real-time applications using MATLAB Real-Time Workshop. This MATLAB-Library is very successfully used in"@en . "80-227-1902-1" .
