The UHPFRC mixture recipe was optimized for the mechanical properties and optimized for homogeneity of steel fibre distribution at cross section. The steel fibre distribution has a significant impact on the mechanical properties of slabs, especially on load-bearing capacity at bending tensile tests. This paper describes not only the mechanical tests, but also optical microscopic method for checking the homogeneity of the steel fibre distribution at the cross section of the slab."@en .
