The electric field initiates electro-osmotic flow in open pore system of this material. The system consists electric circuit, source of direct tension, cables, tested sample (cartouche), scan apparatus and file memory. System deals with up 16 channels. Adjustable parameters are voltage (up to 50 V), test time and periods of storage. System is controlled by special software, which permits user communication with EMIS via PC, it also permits data saving on fixed disc and its conversion to Exel and apparatus restart in case of blackout. System permits controlling of voltage in system and on the output and measures and saves current in time. In Case of error the system shows error report."@en . .
