From measured values of acceleration in gravity centre of the dummy head it derives HIC criterion, which represent level of the dampening quality protection of the head against effects of overloading. Drop test can be simulated numerically by LS DYNA programme. Model of the dummy head is created in accordance with test standards, model of the helmet is made out from 3D scanning for three model variants - without hardening of the surface, with hardening outer or over all surface. Values of the HIC criteria are determinated from estimated results of accelerations during the drop test simulation."@en . . . . .
