"Four terminal-pair coaxial air capacitance standards of nominal value of 10 pF and 100 pF have been realized, with initial accuracy better than 0,005 % (at frequency of 1 kHz). Parasitic self and mutual inductances have been estimated from their mechanical dimensions for both standards. On the base of knowledge of these inductances, capacitance standards' frequency dependences have been determined. The frequency dependences are monotonic functions and can be described as a polynomial functions of degree 2. The relative change of capacitance of 10 pF, resp. 100 pF in the frequency range 1 kHz up to 1 MHz does not exceed value of 0,0005 %, resp. 0,001 %. The calculated relative change has been verified by means of mutual ratio measurement by means of high-frequency four terminal-pair transformer bridge developed at Department of measurement, CTU - FEE and described in doctoral thesis of Ing. Jan Ku\u010Dera. In comparison with previous design of capacitance standards, lower frequency dependence and higher accuracy of calcualtions have been achieved. Design of electrode and cable system have been significantly modified - cables are led from outside to electrodes along standards' axis, which substantially reduce effect of mutual inductance of cables on standards' impedances."@en .
