Current design practice hints with regards to the above mentioned topics on their borders. Indoor lighting as part of the project documentation is addressed it two separate sections. In civil engineering and architectural part daylighting is solved and in high voltage electrical devices the artificial lighting is solved. Design and evaluation of both types of lighting systems is based on two different approaches. Daylighing is designed and evaluated by using of daylight factor Dm, artificial lighting is designed and evaluated by maintained illuminance Em. For this reason proposals for both lighting systems is largely incompatible. The newly proposed concept seeks to understand light as one media necessary for operation of buildings that relate to the health, safety and performance of their users, and with energy consumption of a building."@en . . .
