The paper presents a methodology where the induction heating (time and space variable distribution of the electromagnetic and temperature fields) is modelled in a slightly modified standard manner while the process of cooling by an approximate theoretically empirical procedure based on experimental data. The theoretical analysis of the task is supplemented with an illustrative example and discussion of the results.
