"*The usage of closed-loop test rigs for endurance test of transmissions and their parts (gears) is very advantageous from the point of view of energy consumption. The electric motor provides only the sum of power losses. The torque in the circuit is introduced by preload devices. In the used test rig, two preload devices can be used: Manual preload for use in steady state only Automatic preload for load change during the test run. The specific point of used stand is also the way how the tested and technological gearbox are installed in the test rig. The gearboxes are installed in the same manner as in the vehicle, i.e. with help of rubber mount on the engine side, gearbox side and torque rod. The strain gauge measurement on the input, output shaft and torque rods of both gearboxes give clear picture about transmitted and reaction torque of the gearbox. The gearboxes are primarily tested on the gear endurance. To be able to follow the propagation of faults in the gearboxes the vibration monitoring system was settled. To find optimal position for the accelerometer on the gearbox case, the newly built vibration test stand was used. The vibration tests and results will be also presented in the paper. The focus of the article would be in the description of endurance test methodology, use of fastened tests and their limits. The proposition of the parameters of material fatigue curve (W\u00F6hler curve) based on the gearwheel material and geometry is the main target of the article."@en .
