"The measuring space for heat exchangers enables examining of air and liquid exchangers both for individual units and as well as for various combinations of their connection. The measuring space has the form of an enclosed sealed cabinet with openings for incoming and outcoming air flow. The cabinet is fitted at its entry with a grille with temperature sensors whose purpose is to determine the temperature of the air flow flowing onto the exchanger. A second similar grille serves for determining of the air flow temperature behind the exchanger and it also enables changing of its position in longitudinal direction according to the width of exchangers. The temperature sensors from both grilles are connected to measuring cards, which enables their easy recording on a PC. It is also possible in the measuring space to monitor the temperature of the air entering the exchanger and leaving the exchanger. The same option is offered also for the liquid exchanger.
