"The measuring line for measurement of characteristics of ventilator fan components is of a circular section and is designed as a bleed type line exhausted by means of a one-stage axial ventilator fan (6,86 KW) controlled by means of a frequency converter installed in the linear line. The ventilator fan height can be adjusted up to the working height of 1200 mm from the floor (related to the bottom edge of the ventilator). The measuring line length is 6 m. The internal diameter of the line is up to ca 500 mm (the line is always adjusted for a required diameter of measured ventilators). The entering end is of annuloid (or torus) shape. The flow is regulated by means of the frequency converter and a built-in orifice plate. The design solution of this measuring line enables measuring at zero flow through the line. The maximum flow speed is ca 24 m/s for \u00F8 300 mm. The line is fitted with static pressure reading points. The static pressure reading points are connected by a hose with two pressure transducers Rosemount with the range from -1500 to 1500 Pa.
