It is caused by the fact that chemical additives supplemented into the cooling circuit cause gradual changes of physical properties in surface layers of filler materials, especially of their wettibility. This trend varies with different fill materials. In order to achieve correct measuring of thermodynamic properties it is therefore necessary to let fills %22condition%22. For this operation, the \u00DA12112 department created a special model of a cooling tower which enables showering of fillers by water of a given chemical composition according to various time schedules.
