"This paper focuses on observation of kinetics of structural changes during long-term annealing of transitional welds on P91 steel. Due to the world-wide pressure on decreasing specific heat consumption necessary to manufacturing one kilowatt-hour, ways to achieve the maximal efficiency during burning of conventional heating fuelling are being researched. This goal is possible to reach by applying the new construction solutions or new kinds of operations. These are but only a fraction of options possible. Main values leading to an increased efficiency are therefore raising steam pressure and temperature. These high requirements on materials properties lead to a possible use of the new types of steel, whose characteristic trait is 9-12% Cr content and usually also 1-2% W alloying. This alloying is the cause of better mechanical and creep properties when compared to formerly used 9% Cr steels. Aforementioned P91 belongs to these new types of steel."@en . . . .
