The principle of this concept is based on the distribution of the regulated pressure into two partial resistances. This leads to a reduction of air velocity at the flow contraction and consequently to a reduction of the sound power generated by the damper. The noise of the equipment is reduced by the above concept by 5dB compared with conventional concepts with a single blade damper. Another advantage of the above concept is linear control capability.
