"Development, production and experimental verification of a reducer of the gas pressure gradient to a given limit emphasizing low noise of the equipment. On the basis of generally valid principles a reducer was designed and produced for the reduction of an initial pressure of 1,6 MPa to 0,1 MPa. The principle of the design is gradual reduction of pressure by means of in-series arranged perforated discs where the pressure ratio between two stages is 1,26. The discs are not perforated identically. Due to its design the noise of the system is reduced by 30 dB compared with models with a single or at most two stages. The advantage of this model is that its production is simple, that it can be modified to fulfill any requirement concerning the pressure gradient, gas flow etc. thus making it particularly appropriate for general use."@en .
