The dimensional (shrinkage, growth)- and shape distortion (out-of-roundness, out-of-flatness, teething deviations in transversal as well as longitudinal direction), caused by these treatment methods were measured. Also the positional effect in the test batch on the distortion and core hardness was assessed, in order to make a relationship between these parameters and to make a possibility to optimize the process in future.
