"Electrochemical method can be used as a new method for observation of particle layer sediment on a vessel bottom and for identifying the state of just off-bottom particle suspension. It eliminates disadvantages of commonly used visual method (e.g. subjective experience of experimenter, difficulties in applying in badly transparent, non-transparent or highly concentrated suspensions, etc.) and it still stays inexpensive and quite simple. Measurements can be done automatically with this method using computer programs. The only one main disadvantage of the method is its usage just for suspensions that create suitable electrolyte. The goal of this paper is to describe influence of suspension properties especially liquid phase (electrolyte) viscosity on accuracy of electrochemical method and determine limitations for its usage."@en . .
