"In case of presented study the spatial interrelationships of pelvic area bony structures are detected. The inputs of registration are the two views to be registered; the output is a geometrical transformation, which is merely a mathematical mapping from points in one view to points in the second. Image fusion of two views into one is in our case accomplished by simple registration of landmark coordinates of the same structure = point-based method. Two approaches were tested to find a transformation that performs the match between geometrical data coming from intraindividual MRI studies. The idea common to both approaches is to match selected reference body but the method of the transformation is different. Different bony structures were tested as reference bodies. Specific diameter parameters were monitored for 18 subjects and 46 MRI studies. Developed MR-image processing tool for intraindividual comparison in the study seems to be promising easy modality for broader clinical use."@en . "RIV/68407700:21220/06:00123447" .
