"The following article summarizes the knowledge gained during the development of refractory cement based composites reinforced with basalt fibers. The issue of the interaction of the filler and binder components of concrete at temperatures reaching 1000 \u00B0 C is a complex process, at the end of the concrete exhibits markedly different properties. A total of four different mixtures were subjected to analysis of the influence of temperature of 600 \u00B0 C and 1000 \u00B0 C on the resulting mechanical properties. Purely refractory composition containing aluminous cement with a high content of Al2O3 and basalt aggregates, compared to the non-refractory mixture consisted of Portland cement and silica aggregates. Tensile bending, compressive strength, modulus and fracture energy were the basic mechanical characteristics of the investigated samples on a cuboid with dimensions of 40 x 40 x 160 mm.
