"The objective is to assess the influence of loading of moving trucks on a dam of a sludge lagoon on installed underground sealing wall. In view of dam heterogeneity the analysis showed a possibility of evolution of local sliding. These failures must be prevented by introducing suitable measures such that the overall stability of the dam is not impaired. The overall slope stability was found around 1,8 (the slope is globally stable). However, the failure region (sliding surface) may cross the sealing PTS wall at a depth of 4,0 m in case of excessive loading of a dam crest in conjunction with the excavation of sludge. But even in case of massive failure, the PTS wall will not be damaged at deeper sections."@en .
