"1"^^ . . "This article analyzes the impact of pedestrians on the capacity of single-lane roundabouts in the Czech Republic. In 2012, there were performed a total of 19 traffic surveys at 15 different sigle-lane roundabouts in 11 cities in the Czech Republic. The characteristics of traffic flow were evaluated from records for subsequent analysis of interdependencies. From the identified characteristics was calculated the pedestrian coefficient according to the chosen methodology and compared with the German HBS methodology. After finding of some discrepancy there was calibrated the German computational mechanism on the Czech traffic conditions. As a result of the survey there was presented a computational mechanism for determining the impact of pedestrians on the capacity of the entrance to the roundabout."@en . .
