"Water tanks are an integral part of every water supply system. Although these objects are usually used for short-term accumulation of water, they represent points in the distribution network with a dominant risk of deterioration of water quality. There is a danger of organic contamination caused by airborne fallout which is enhanced by a faster release of water disinfectant. Water tanks also leads to an unequal exchange of water with the possible occurrence of dead zones. The research is focused on hydraulic behaviour of the selected water tank storage chamber. The paper deals with the results of mathematical model of the selected water tank. Evaluated and compared were the steady flows of water for the current state of locations of inflow and outflow, but various direction of inflow."@en . .
