The first part of the article describes a system of earth air heat exchangers (the EAHE) as sources of heat and cold for preheating and precooling of ventilation air in buildings. Part of the article is dedicated to the system description and a brief listing of the key features that affect the performance and efficiency of EAHE. The second part of the article deals with applications of EAHE for a real object. There is therefore possible to see the numerical value of energy savings for heating and cooling buildings.
