"Slender pillars are particularly characteristic feature of today's modern architecture, not only because of aesthetics, but also more efficient use of materials and the total cost proposal. A typical feature of these structures is their aspect ratio, which is generally defined as the ratio of effective length and radius of inertia of the element cross section. Currently, the standard recommended three methods for assessing the lean elements from relatively accurate general method, despite the simplistic method of nominal rigidity and nominal curvature. Thus the results provide very conservative conclusions, which significantly reduce the size of load. This fact was the motivation for the realization of the experiment, which verifies the actual behavior of material and geometric properties of thin and very thin elements. The output will be an overview of the development of mechanical and rheological properties of concrete at the time, as well as the mechanical and deformational properties of concrete reinforcement. The selected test samples are exposed to long-term effects of load in order to obtain data that will be used to predict the rheological properties of concrete. All these material tests will be used to create and calibrate the pre-computing model. Based on the results of these calculations will be made final geometry optimization, the method and degree of reinforcement for the design of large-scale test specimens. In the experiment, they examined three sets of samples following aspect ratio \u03BB = 80, 120 and 160, different values \u200B\u200Bwill be achieved in different lengths to eliminate the influence of different sizes and cross bracing.
