"The objective of this paper is to present the progress of the doctoral thesis, which is focused on the improvement of fire safety of beam-to-column header plate connections. The transfer of the heat into the structural elements and the joint will be predicted by FE simulation and the mechanical modelling of the connection will be simulated by component method at elevated temperature. The validation of the temperature development during the fire is expected during the natural fire test on full scale model of a structure."@en .
