"2006-11-29+01:00"^^ . "Changes inside the subsoil usually affect rising additional subsidence and consequently the damage of the upper structure. One of the main sources of these changes is variation of the groundwater table. There were numerous structure failures after the series of flood events in the last decade. Very small portion of them collapsed during the floods. Dynamic loading due to water flow or floating objects can therefore not be evaluated as the main reason of collapse of these structures. So there arise the questions of serious prediction and prevention of the structure damages inflicted by floods. The paper contains several selected results from the research of the processes due to the groundwater flow and variations of ground water table which cause the irreversible changes in the subsoil. The paper also presents the state of art of poromechanics coupling processes."@en . .
