"This article follows the life story of Jeroným Šrol (Hieronymus Schroll), well-educated townsman and important communal politician of the Prague Old Town. Although his German origin, he stayed, contrary to his father, in the Hussite Prague and took the side of radicals led by Jan Želivský. After 1427 he retired from public life and enlarged his property. Nevertheless he retained his consistent Hussite belief. In 1438 he was already dead. In the course of revolution the Šrol family became completely Czechized."@en .
