"In the last two decades, research on a school bullying has begun to focus also on less noticeable, relational forms of aggression such as verbal attacks, spreading of rumors and social exclusion, which have been associated particularly with female interactions. Compared to boys, girls are less frequently perceived as perpetrators, but more often as defenders of victimized children. According to the mentioned findings, specific gender expectations may play an important role. Furthermore, specifics of friendships within girls and boys as well as an intra-group dynamics influence significantly diverse image of the school bullying."@en . .
