"The paper presents an empirical study based on constructivist theory of loosening-tightening and cognitive complexity (differentiation and integration) in people suffering from schizophrenia. In contrast to studies with grids it uses an alternative method for the construct elicitation called the Revised Semantic Selection Test (TSVrev). This method identifies nonverbal constructs and enables estimation of the constructivist diagnostic dimensions. A sample of 11 schizophrenic patient was involved into the study and compared with a clinical control group (a sample of depressive patients) and with a non-clinical constrol group. Results showed significantly lower levels of integration in the schizophrenic group."@en . . . "Belgrade" . "Belgrade" . . . "schizophrenia; personal construct psychology; loosening"@en . . .
