"The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the visula search behavior in Rorschach test and the personality traits. Seventeen healthy subjects were tested with computer version of Rorschach test. The eye movement data from 3 sec were compared with the dimension profiles in Cloninger TCI questionnaire. The search activity (total scanning legth), when subject is confronted with uncertain structure of Rorschach tables, correlates with Novelty Seeking, Harm Avoidance and Cooperativeness; and inversely correlates with Self-Transcendence dimension in TCI. The Novelty Seeking dimension mainly correlates with the search activity colores tables. These findings indicate there is a relationship between the visual search behavior and personality factores, which may help to interpret the behavior in other visual search experimental situations."@en . .
