The approach failed to map small patches of heterogeneous or atypical vegetation and to differentiate vegetation types with dominants of similar appearance. Nevertheless since this method is comparably less time- and labour-consuming, it seems suitable for mapping distinct vegetation types, surveying larger areas and identifying changes over time."@en . .
