. "This paper focuses on the comparison of the magnetic susceptibility (MS) curves over a large distance and across the facies. The Ardennes section shows an alternation of near shore platform, ramp and mound environments where detrital inputs are very important. Time-equivalent facies in the area of the Moravian Karst correspond to high purity limestones of open-sea platform type where Amphipora beds dominated shallow reef interior. In spite of these differences, the Eifelian-Frasnian MS pattern successions of Belgium have a great similarity to Moravia. The atmospheric circulation of dust and its widespread distribution on the Devonian globe is an appropriate mechanism through which this continuity can be explained."@en . "Ger\u0161l, M." .
