The situation of the Mediterranean imports here is characteristic by the presence of the Greek or Etruscan products, such as Attic pottery or Etruscan or Italic bronze vessels (Chytráček 1983; Bouzek 1992; Bouzek 1997; Trefný- Kloužková Chytráček-Hanykýř 2011; Trefný 2011; Trefný 2012). These finds represent an evidence of the certain forms of the interregional contacts between South and Central Europe during the late phase of the early iron age. Despite the existence of the indirect indication of the consumption of the wine by the central European Celts, such as the imports of the red figured kylikes, the clear evidence as for example the finds of the transport amphorae was still missing. The first find of its kind in Bohemia also brings a new light to mentioned problems and proves that also early La Tene Bohemia was engaged in the network of the Mediterranean wine trade. Because presented fragment represents the first find of its type, it is still soon for any considerations regarding the frequency or generally the character of such trade." .
