The problem of standard sensing using a resistive divider is that it is not electrically isolated from the mains voltage power supply circuits. This fact puts high demands on the power supply of the electronic and unnecessarily complicates the evaluation circuits . By its nature it is a two optocouplers powered directly from the AC voltage measured using a resistive divider . Optocoupler LEDs are driven by the rhythm of the mains voltage and output phototransistors are opened just this rhythm. The output signal is amplified and processed by an operational amplifier that performs gain and offset the DC component of the AC voltage to a DC field .
