"The paper deals with the process of tailoring online courses to the students' needs according to their detected learning styles. Since 2010 this topic has been researched at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. Within the research an application was designed for the online course Database Systems II in 2010/11 academic year. The application is described in detail and applied principles are introduced. Its main purpose was to generate the appropriate order of various types of study materials, assignments, communication and related activities to adjust the process of instruction to students' requirements. The process was continuously monitored, several risks and limits were discovered. Finally, the tutors' experience and recommendations are presented and discussed." . . . .
